Indiana Hospital seeks to recruit a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon with Fellowship training in Breast to join this private group. A fellowship in breast is required. General surgery call is required with a current call expectation of 1:5, (7 consecutive days when on call). You will be expected to practice both general surgery in addition to breast surgery while growing the Breast Program.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a collegial group growing to meet the needs of the expanding community. The practice covers 1 hospital with 5 OR suites and 12+ ICU rooms. There is a Hospitalist Program in place providing coverage 24/7/365.

This Indiana Community Hospital is located centrally between Fort Wayne, Indiana and Chicago. This 70+bed facility is a member of a Health Network. The hospital offers a newly renovated 13+bed intensive care unit and an 17+ bed emergency department. Services include cardiology, women’s services, oncology, orthopedic surgery, diagnostic services, wellness and weight management, wound care, ophthalmology, obstetrics, inpatient and outpatient surgery, occupational health, urgent care, ENT clinics and rehabilitation services.
This community is also known for its outdoor recreation including golf, hiking trails, lakes, parks, fishing and hunting. Housing is very affordable and the public and private schools are excellent.
