This Indiana Hospital seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon with Burn and or Wound experience to join hospital affiliated group of 12 surgeons who provide support to 3 Hospital’s. The group consists of 3 trauma surgeons and 9 general surgeons. Current call expectation is 1:3.

This Indiana Medical Center is a 190+bed facility dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of neighborhoods in and around the heart of the area. Building on a renewed emphasis from the community to make downtown a prime location to live and work, this hospital continues to lead the charge by offering a growing list of advanced technologies. Its medical staff consists of more than 500 physicians. Specialties available here, including cardiovascular and orthopedic surgery, neonatal intensive care and emergency medicine, are delivered by physicians from medical groups that also serve sister health networks hospitals. This hospital provides unsurpassed care for regional patients in the areas of senior health services, hyperbaric medicine and wound care. The hospital’s Burn Center is one of the region’s only verified burn centers and one of only a few in the state. It is a burn center in Indiana for adult and pediatric burn care. This hospital is also home to a transitional care unit that is licensed by the state and certified by Medicare to provided skilled nursing. Their Behavioral Health offers inpatient and outpatient services for the adult and geriatric population. An advanced cardiac catheterization lab also supports an accredited chest pain center.
