Indiana Medical Center, 30 minutes from Fort Wayne, seeks to recruit a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to practice full time in the community. The hospital is assisting a large established single-specialty group in this recruitment effort. The current call expectation is 10 days a month.

This Medical Center is located just 30 minutes from Fort Wayne, IN. This almost 80 bed acute care facility is a member of a Health Network. The Medical Center provides medical, surgical and pediatric care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, intensive care, continuing care, emergency services, business health services, rehabilitation services and a full range of digital diagnostic services. All inpatient areas of the facility have had full renovations including updated infrastructure and treatments. The most recent renovation at the medical center involved a $3 million investment to complete the Women’s Center, the hospital’s obstetrical services unit that can accommodate up to 10+ newborns. Surgeons find the equipment they need as well as an excellent nursing staff both within the OR and in all of the patient units. Their unique multi-specialty physician history lends a tertiary feel to the facility with all the comforts and conveniences of a hometown hospital.
